Upward Spring Season Begins!
We held our first Upward Sports practice on Saturday, March 15th. A total of nearly 60 young athletes are registered for spring flag football and cheerleading. We can’t wait to see what these athletes achieve this season!
Christmas for Local Nursing Homes
We have been busy providing Christmas for 128 senior citizens at local nursing homes. The special gift bags include items from Haywood County businesses.
Angel Gifts
We were able to adopt a local mom and her five children for Christmas. Special gifts for this family were delivered on Friday, December 20th.

Check Presentation to Mountain Projects
Carolyn Hindel, NC Global Methodist Church Controller, and Farron Duncan, Plains Methodist Church Pastor, present a check to Mountain Projects for $150,000 on December 11, 2024. The funds will be distributed to disaster relief, unmet emergency needs, and heating assistance.
